Treasure Map 2018
On Thursday, Carol, Michelle, Paula and Bev took our annual trip to the Treasure Map Conference in Manchester. Treasure Map is a 2 Day dental conference for private dentists looking at ways in which the can improve their practice and their team so that patients can enjoy the best possible dental experience.
A great weekend full of motivational and inspirational speakers, idea sharing as well as fundraising for Dental Mavericks at the annual ball.
It was Bev and Paula’s first time at TM and Bev thought “it was a very inspirational and motivational weekend. Very informative but delivered in a fun way!”
They have all come back brimming with ideas to share with the team to keep improving what we do at heathDENTAL and how we do it.
Did you know that we do drill-free dentistry for our patients?
say goodbye to the dentists drill at Heath Dental!
At Heath Dental we want to give our patients some of the best pain free treatment around and one way we can offer this is with the use of our state of the art laser.
The Waterlase reduces the need for anaesthetic, it reduces bleeding during and after treatment and it reduces the need for painkillers post treatment as well.
It is safe to use on both adults and children so it is a great tool for patients who may be nervous about having a procedure done.
If you want dentistry without the drill please ask us more about having your treatment carried out with the Waterlase and we would be happy to give you more information!
IPC Awards Highly Commended
From 100 Dental practices, Heath Dental were one of just eight practices that were shortlisted at this years Schulke Infection Prevention and Control awards. We picked up A Highly Commended Award in this category. Well done to all the team for making this possible.
Continuity and Loyalty
Welcome to October’s HeathDENTAL Blog.
This month I want to talk about continuity and loyalty.
In the modern age of instant gratification, geographical freedom of movement and lack of responsibility for one’s actions (in some quarters), it’s very easy to pack up and move on when things become a challenge.
We all know how when we visit a doctors surgery we end up seeing some new doctor each time, often for this very reason.
That is why I want to applaud, congratulate and thank Sean Power, our senior dentist here at HeathDENTAL.
He has just celebrated 10 years as an integral part of our team, showing all the qualities highlighted above, together with being an exceptionally talented dentist and good human being.
His patients and colleagues, I am sure are grateful for the continuity and consistency he brings, which allows him to form great relationships with his patients, all leading to the fulfilment of our practice promise, to deliver calm and caring, pain free dentistry.
It is always much easier to do this when you see the same trusted face every time.
Congratulations Emma and Michelle
Well done to Emma and Michelle for obtaining their certificate of competence for taking dental impressions!
